ABOUT US

Freeman & Associates is a 60+ year old family-owned contracting firm headquartered in Columbus, GA, adjacent to Fort Benning.  We have the ability and maintain the resources to serve different roles on a project; prime contractor for an entire project or "key teaming subcontractor" for specific work packages to be outsourced by large and small businesses and contracting companies.

The Freeman family has been associated in the construction industry since 1959, beginning with Bob Carter & Associates and establishing Freeman & Associates, Inc. in 1978. Freeman is a member of The Associate General Contractors of America (AGC), The Columbus Chamber of Commerce, a LEED member firm, and is ASHE certified. We are proud to have earned the 2001 Build Georgia award for the TSYS Riverfront Campus and Riverwalk Project in Columbus, GA. With our successful relationships with joint venture arrangements, we are capable of working on a local and national scale of expertise.

ANDY FREEMAN

CEO

Andy Freeman has built his 41-year career with Freeman & Associates serving in multiple roles including Superintendent, Estimator, Project Manager, and Operations Manager. In his current role as Director of Operations, Andy oversees all aspects of Freeman & Associates, Inc. Andy ensures that resources are available for projects throughout the project’s lifetime. He is an accomplished leader with extensive knowledge and practical experience in construction management.

 

Taylor Freeman

President

Taylor Freeman has built his 30-year career with Freeman & Associates serving in multiple roles including Superintendent, Estimator, Project Manager, and Operations Manager before becoming President. In his current role, Taylor oversees the overall operations of Freeman & Associates, Inc. and ensures that resources are available for projects throughout the project’s lifetime, for projects ranging from $10,000 to $100 million. Taylor plays a vital role in the pre-construction process of each project as well as throughout construction closeout. He is always available to the client to ensure that Freeman & Associates is exceeding their expectations.

DAVID HAWKINS

Executive Vice President

David Hawkins brings over 40 years of experience in corporate management, business development, and strategic marketing. With a proven track record in driving growth and optimizing performance, David oversees all construction projects at Freeman & Associates as Executive Vice President, ensuring the successful procurement of resources and monitoring progress toward project goals
